Biography
Bernard Afriyie was born on 30th March, 1988 in Koforidua, Eastern Region of Ghana. He grew up in an environment that emphasized compassion, faith, and service. After completing high school at Ofori Panin Secondary, Bernard pursued a Diploma in General Nursing at the Nurses and Midwives' Training College, Koforidua, becoming a Registered General Nurse with experience in critical care, pediatrics, geriatrics, and psychiatry. His education continued with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistantship from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, further broadening his healthcare skills. In 2023, Bernard founded "Afriyie Auspice International (NGO)" to restore hope to underserved communities. The NGO focuses on poverty alleviation, disease prevention, and community development through education, healthcare, and skill training projects. Bernard is also pursuing a Global Executive Masters in Business Administration in Healthcare Management and Policy at the Ghana College of Scientists to advocate for healthcare system improvements. He integrates faith into his work, believing in the spiritual aspect of healing.
